- Welcome to the Keenai Discovery panel
- Add your photos to Keenai service
- How do I get to the Discovery panel?
- What can the Discovery panel show me?
The Discovery panel will help you learn your shooting habits. You can use it to see the times of day you shoot and which apertures, shutter speeds, and shooting modes you use (and more!) so you can see what works and what doesn't in your photographs. Once you analyze your photographs and your habits, you can see what already works for you, or determine what you need to improve.
In order for the Discovery panel to get a sense of your general shooting habits, you need to have approximately 400 photos in your Keenai account. You don't need to go out and shoot that many. Instead, use these instructions to upload your past photos to the Keenai service:
It's easy to get to the Discovery panel:
- Go to app.keenai.com and sign in to your Keenai account
- Click the Menu button in the upper-left corner
- Click Discover
The top left corner of the Discovery panel has a drop-down menu that allows you to view the cameras you've used to upload to Keenai service.
The interactive graph in the top half of the Discover panel lets you cross reference multiple information types along an X- and Y-axis. For instance, you can see all of the ISOs you use in photos and all of the apertures you've used with those ISOs. You could also check to see the exposure mode you most often use with your camera and see what shutter speeds you tend to use the most in that mode. You can use any combination of Date, Hour of Day, Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO, and Exposure Mode.
To change the type of information that displays, use the drop-down menus in the top right corner of the Discover panel. You can also change the date range that displays by using the sliders at the top of the screen to set when the date range begins and when it ends.
Discovery Panel Photos
Once you've selected the information you want to display in the Interactive Graph (the X- and Y-axis info and the date range), the photos that match those parameters display in the lower half of the Discovery panel.
