The Keenai application for Android can write geolocation information to your photos once you configure the application to do so. If you are using a GPS-enabled camera, the Keenai application will not overwrite that information.
To allow the Keenai application to use your device's location to geotag photos, follow the steps below:
- Tap the Menu
button
- Tap Settings
Note: If your phone has a Menu button, press it, then tap Settings in the menu that appears - Under Application Preferences, tap Use device location
- Check the box next to Geotag Photos
When you enable geotagging, you will see this message:
If the date and time of your Android device and camera are more than one hour out of sync, the Keenai application will not geotag your photos.
The Keenai application will not request your device's location as often (only every 15 minutes, instead of every three minutes) when using the Optimize battery option.
